The South Kingstown Police Department and South Kingstown Animal Control are suggesting that people avoid the Potter Woods area due to reports of a raccoon exhibiting behavior consistent with a rabies infection.
If you observe a raccoon in or around Potter Woods that appears sick, disoriented, unusually aggressive, or otherwise behaving abnormally, please do not approach or attempt to capture the animal. Please call 911 immediately.
